Hard Candy and Solaris

Today I watched this movie, I'd been hearing a lot about it, and I absolutely love Ellen Page, but just haven't got the time I guess. I really enjoyed this movie. It's a departure from mainstream storytelling and  great acting. Have you seen it? 

I also watched Solaris, the russian version of 1972. What a beautiful movie. I think that director was a genius. I'm beginning the book that inspired it as I'm also a fan of sci-fi in almost all it's forms. I leave you with Ellen page pictures, always a treat n_n have a good week.

1. Stop listening to her on the phone for more than 5 minutes.
2. If she calls, strategically disregard her from time to time - "You know what, I'm actually kinda busy. I'm watching a movie. I'll call you after it's done. - K bye." Then call her back 5 or 6 hours later, instead of when the movie is done. 
3. Don't pay for her meal every time. Strategically plan the less-than-30% of the times you will pay for both meals. 
4. Hollywood is bullshit, and so are indie films - even the one's about true stories. Come down to reality. 
5. You're not in love - period. You might be once you've been together for a long time, but you're not in love right now.
6. Stop thinking in terms of selflessness. You're young, you have needs, and require freedom as well. Think of the whole situation in terms of that.
